Creekside Concert · Sunday Qi Gong

Chris Andrews—the man behind the name—has been part of Mountain Run Jam for years. He plays creekside Saturday night and leads qi gong Sunday morning before everyone heads home.

When I was 22, I walked across the United States with a push cart and a nylon string guitar. By the time I reached the desert, I had a bag full of songs and went home and recorded them in my parent's attic. This was the beginning of C. Burrows. I called that album Angelfish (2017).

After my walk, I started working to become a therapist and naturally began writing songs about the process of feeling and healing. Following numerous chance encounters with inspiring musicians and producers including Suz Slezak (David Wax Museum), Daniel Goans (Lowland Hum), Anthony Da Costa (Pleasantville Recording), and D. James Goodwin (The Isokon), my new album Dark Blue (2026) came to life.

I have no expectations for where this journey will lead me, but I hope to connect deeply with my community, find new sounds that inspire me and share openly from my heart to give others permission to do the same.
